Colorado Crossings

May 16–17, 2026

Florence & Cripple Creek Reunion – Don’t miss a rare chance to see two historic narrow gauge locomotives, the D&RGW 315 and No. 20, operating together at the Colorado Railroad Museum. Also at the musuem is locomotive 318 also of F&CC heritage. What an exiciting event for any rail enthusist. This event is perfect for all ages, allowing you to ride and experience a slice of Colorado’s railroad history.

The 315 Returns

September or October 2026

Following its appearance at Colorado Crossings, the 315 will embark on a journey to Antonito for maintenance at the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad shops. It will eventually return to the tracks carrying passengers through the stunning landscapes of the American Southwest in October.

DRHS October Exursions

September or October – check back for exact dates.

The 315 will be hauling excursions through some of the most breathtaking narrow gauge country in the American Southwest. First date will be in support of the DRHS and a few days later  will support the Friends of the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad.

October 17th and 18th

Another opportunity to see the 315 under steam running on some of the most scenic track in the world. The Cumbres and Toltec railroad is operating this excursion.
